As a food producer you often have an idea regarding a packaging line. Perhaps you want to produce a new product or increase your existing capacity.
VME is engineering packaging lines within the food industry according to wishes and demands.
Together with you, we draw up the starting points and packaging specifications, after which we devise and visualise various concepts, possibly with the help of simulations. All required functions, goods and information flows are recorded in Process Flow Diagrams (PFD).
After we have chosen the most suitable concept, we elaborate this in a basic design. Here we draw the production line in 2D or 3D, including the human and material flows and hygienic zoning. Attention is paid to whether it fits into your existing or new factory and future plans are taken into account.
The machine specifications are drawn up and the capacities are matched. To come up with a working line, the control concept and the information flows are recorded. As a basic for track control and MES (Manufacturing Execution System) we draw up an Functional Design Specification (FDS). At all times we check whether you are completely satisfied with the design.
After your approval we prepare the specifications. Together we choose the right suppliers. Our engineers and project managers keep in touch with suppliers and supervise the entire process from FAT (Factory Acceptance Test), construction, commissioning and start up, until the new line meets the specifications.
We hand over our knowledge and know-how to make sure that you employees can fully operate the solution. This can be done in forms of documents or via training.
